Tuesday 1 of September 2009.. Almost all Gmail users worldwide had trouble accessing their google accounts for nearly two hours.Google confirmed that its e-mail service was unavailable and this was caused by an error during "routine upgrades" to the company's web servers.The incident was carachterized as a "big deal" and the firm is examining the situation trying to ensure it will not happen again in the future.Google's last technical problem happened in May 2009 and millions of people were unable to use its main search page, Gmail and Google News.
